Tasmanian Climate Change Office Executive Director, Wendy Spencer presented to the Climate Change Club based at the Don Campus on Tuesday 27 October. Students from Ulverstone High, Devonport High, Nixon St Primary and Miandetta Primary were present. The slides from this presentation are attached.

The University of Tasmania have completed a report on energy efficiency measures in low income housing. The report indicates that low-income households are likely to be healthier if their homes are energy efficient.
- ClimateConnect Grants – Round Two coming soon
Start working on your applications, because the second round of the ClimateConnect community grants program will be open from 15 November 2009 to 29 January 2010. The program provides grants of up to $30,000 to eligible organisations for projects which help communities identify and implement local solutions to the challenges of climate change.
